The Sentry 300 Solar Charged Automatic Gate Opener Double Gate Basic Kit contains the first high quality commercial grade Do-it-Yourself dual gate opener. The universal mounting brackets will allow for push to open or pull to open installation easily bolt on to most existing gates. The linear actuator provides 400 lbs of thrust and has a compression rating of 1000 lbs. Open or close time is typically 16 seconds and will not dramatically vary with gate weight. The Sentry is designed to be installed on farm gates up to 20-Feet in length, ornamental iron gates up to 12-Feet in length or chain link gates up to 14-Feet in length. A full line of solar friendly accessories are available to allow you to customize your automated gate system to your needs. The Sentry 300 includes a 3 Year Warranty covering defects in material and workmanship. Product will be replaced or repaired. The Double Gate Basic Kit includes all mounting hardware, two 2 button transmitters, battery charge controller, solar panel kit for solar battery charging, AC transformer for optional AC battery charging, charge cable extension kit, installation DVD, full color installation/owner's manual, control box with preinstalled components, and linear actuator. Recommended battery is a sealed lead acid, group U1 battery not included in kit. Solar charging eliminates the need for AC power at the gate saving money and installation time. The energy efficient design of the Sentry Gate Opener allows up to 8 weeks of operation without any sun and additional solar panels are not needed under normal use. The solar panel kit includes a 5-Watt solar panel, 15-Feet of cable equipped with Plug-n-Go connector (no wiring), mounting bracket and hardware.
